Top 5 tips for Tier 4 Uk Student Visa [Part 2]

A common question from around the world is how to avoid Tier 4 UK student visa. Previously I wrote top 5 tips for UK visa for the students. Here I’m going to write another top 5 tips how to be successful in visa interview.

Applying for Student visa is not so hard if you always follow the proper visa guideline. UK visa_guide

1. Students are not aware of their Course Structure, Progress and its benefits

Well, its important for a student to know what course they are applying, the structure or outline (number of credits) or modules they need to study. At the same time a genuine student always knows what they are coming for study and the progress of this qualification. More in details what they are able to do after finishing this course and most importantly how this course will help or benefit them for their career or academic perspectives.

2. Students are applying irrelevant course to their academic or work background

A student from science background and he’s applying for ACCA without knowing anything about accountancy. It is not a crime to apply for ACCA but you need to research about the course and need to know how this will help you to enhance your academic achievement.  The significant of applying to right course is very important. If you have a bachelor in architecture or biology and now would like to come to UK to study MBA or ACCA you need to prove to the ECO that you have enough credible reasons to study this course and explain the reason of choosing a course where you don’t have any academic or professional experience. Make sure you follow the #1 tips.

3. Students does not have enough knowledge of their Institution

Lots of research on many institutes (college or University) will not only help you to get UK visa but also helpful to boost your confidence. You need to know exactly what kind facilities or education you are about the gain from your chosen institute. Such as the awarding body, (Ofqual, QAA, English UK, UKVI etc) accreditation’s.

4. English, english and english

No mercy in English. You need to prove you have credibility in English language to study in UK. UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) sets a specific approved English language test providers. From them IELTS is the most famous one. Having a very good IELTS score will give you huge boost to your application. When a ECO sees you have excellent IELTS score its easier for them to take decision. Remember you must need to fulfil minimum IELTS requirements your chosen score.

5. Students are applying with academic gap and are unable to satisfy Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) with the reason of that gap

Obviously you need to show academic progress and if you have study gap in between your last education to recent date we assume you are working. Perhaps its a good idea to get work reference letter or if you had medical conditions you can demonstrate your evidence to ECO. Students who’s already in UK and facing many difficulties with the academic progression may join us in our facebook group Tier 4 Students in UK‘ where our group members share their experience and solutions.

      Hi Kristel

Many thanks for your comments. Please let us know if you are looking for Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science. Usually UK university fees for Bachelor average £9000 to £12000 per year but if its Masters then it would be around £12000 to £15000. But again please note fees always vary based on different institutes.

      Good luck.

      Dear Jonny

Many university offer postgraduate course with pre-sessional english. Contact with the universities directly. In that case pre-sessional english fees may incur additional fees from £1000 to £2000. It vary based on the universities fees structure. Good luck 🙂
