You never mentioned sending speculative applications as part of an online job hunting strategy. I think that this works very well when students are looking for internships or placements. The best way to go about it is to Google search something like ‘marketing companies London’ and then investigate the results. With this approach your application will have to be exceptionable as the job has not been advertising publically but with a bit of luck you can land a job with one of the best companies in the industry !
