I’m from the Philippines and is very interested in taking up a professional boost. I’m planning to take up ACCA + MBA in London or to any college offering ACCA courses near Staffordshire. I’m eyeing LSBF or Newcastle-under-Lyme College.
I’m a CPA here and is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Accountants. I’ve got almost 8 years work experience gained in multinational companies doing offshoring jobs. I’d like to have a deep accounting experience and experience how it’s like studying abroad and work at the same time.
My question on my head right now is that, if i might pursue the plan this year, since I’m a CPA and have taken up some subjects before, will I take the whole 14 papers? Will there be an assessment procedure first to determine my eligibility to be exempted and take some papers only?

Its hard to assume how long it takes after submitting visa application but normally it takes minimum 4 weeks to maximum 12 weeks.
When you submit your apps Uk Embassy will give you an estimate date idea.

I am studying ACCA in a A graded college and i finished F2, F3 and already givene the exam of F5 and F6, hoping both subject I am going to pass. In this college where i am studying only teaching F1 to F9 thats why i need to change the college and my visa going to expire in April 2011.
I want to know the level of this course because i getting different types of information from different people; for example: if i apply for course under the level 6 i have to back my country and need to apply from my county…my dependent cant work etc.

This is Mr.Mahendra from India, I want to take admission in ACCA so, what are the requirements of IELTS, I have 12 years of practical experience in accounting (Including 7 years experience in taxation firm).
Following are my questions :
1) If IELTS is not given then what will be other course I have to do to get the admission over there.

I am currently studying ACCA with 5 pappers left .My visa is about to expire in April and i want to take march session. But the problem is that only BPP is allowing 20 hours work with student visa.

The college is not on HE list but they claim that home office does give the permit.
