My first few months in UK

Coming to UK has been one of my big dreams and finally I’ve made it on the 16th of February 2014. The plane as if landed like a ‘Meteorite’ and I shivered thinking in my mind that finally I am in somewhere I don’t belong to but never even torn apart of it.

The 16th of Feb indeed is one of  my most memorable days not only for the day I came but it can be said a tragedy, happened between me and my family since I never ever enjoyed a single night without them and that’s how they shattered while seeing me off for the first time but gradually I had overcome and got out of the emotional bonding’s through the very beautiful journey with so many unfamiliar faces. It was windy indeed while waiting for the bus in the Heathrow’s terminal 5 but enjoyable. The first three days were full of emotions since I’ve been living without my family in addition with that, the weather of course scared me. It was cold, rainy without shiny as if I started looking pale until I discovered myself as a international student.
I want to do something big in my career, something unique, something memorable which would make everyone satisfied eventually. – K. F. Mumu
My first day at college is very explicit in my mind. They were light-hearted, warm and friendly when they welcomed me and I was overwhelmed by that. However, I was introduced with my lessons along with my classmates who are helpful as well as full of life. I am happy to be a part of them.
Student life in UK
Education UK that I had been hearing of through the British Council helped me searching of many unique things about the UK. The people are indeed well behaved, decent in a way like everyone knows each other, care for the ones who seek helps. UK is green, landscapes are the mention-able, historical sites are the worlds remarkable which I truly appreciate from the core of my heart.
Now the dream is even bigger, seeing me holding a UK degree in my dreams which is soon going to be the real. I want to do something big in my career, something unique, something memorable which would make everyone satisfied eventually. Thus, I pray and hope that my educational career may have the ‘Happy Ending’ and get the full benefits of being an international student of the UK.

Kaniz Fatema Mumu is an international student in UK. She is here in UK with very high hope to develop an excellent educational career. She is bright, young and passionate to her goal. She also love blogging and very often she writes blog in The London Study as a Guest Blogger.

Ms.Mumu, you are already a winner and successful in the battle of your life!
First of all, when you started living there in abroad you faced a lot of problems such as losing control over your emotions and the loneliness-missing your families. But you mostly handled it within this few months…
Secondly, most of the people get a “cultural shock” and find it difficult to stay in abroad but you adapted with that new environment and culture easily and you are now enjoying there. This is something awesome!
I know you miss your country a lot,
but the thing is that you are there to fulfill your dreams and hopes of your life,
so just “Make It Happen”… 🙂
The country is waiting for you… 🙂
I am wishing you all the best from the core of my heart… 🙂
    May God bless you,amen…..
